Construction Sites
The Knighthood Group has been protecting construction sites for some of the largest construction companies in the UK for a number of years. Royall Security Systems Ltd was initially invited to provide systems for Wates Construction a little over 4 years ago, primarily as a health and safety exercise.
Wates wanted to ensure that all staff and contractors were safety inducted onto site, as well as being in possession of valid CSCS certification. Using an access control system and logging people onto and off of the various sites achieved this. By producing an access control card, with photo ID and other relevant information printed onto it, the individual had a “security pass” and Wates had an up to the minute accurate attendance record in the event of an incident.
Modern day health and safety requirements can sometimes make it difficult and problematic to achieve the right level of personnel movement whilst ensuring that safety and security are not compromised. The Knighthood Group is able to offer many aspects of site security, from access control with customised software and CCTV systems, through to intruder and fire alarms, both of which can be hard wired or radio based. Scaffold alarms are another area in which the site can be protected, thus ensuring that you have peace of mind irrespective of what issues may arise.
